In a career that spanned nineteen years, David represented his hometown club Hinckley, the University of California Berkeley, Bayern München, Wales, and Great Britain. David’s impressive resume of international competitions includes 2 World Championships, 3 Commonwealth Games, 4 European Championships, and 3 World University Games.

David finished his career in London, training in Camden. After retiring in 2007 at the European Championships, David aims to settle in California to seek new adventures outside of gymnastics.

David would personally like to thank all those who have supported his career, in particular his life long coach Trevor Low, his family, and the most special person in his life – Tara Capsuto.
